Shaloha Aires attended Harvard-Westlake high school in Los Angeles and attended Harvard College, graduating cum laude in 2004 with a BA in History and Mandarin. Shortly after graduating she joined the Harvard Schools Committee as an alumni volunteer and began interviewing students applying to her alma mater. She has over seven years of experience interviewing high school college applicants. She truly enjoys hearing students’ stories and understanding what makes each person unique.
Shaloha has helped family and friends navigate the college application process, editing their essays and providing guidance in application strategy and mindset. Shaloha has been fortunate to have invaluable mentors in her life. She was motivated to start Savvy Prep to provide mentorship to high school students throughout perhaps one of the first, independent and important decisions in their life and hopefully impart some lessons which were shared with her.
